A Kawasaki Robot uses a MAGNUM-PET-130-13
to handle hard disk platters in a Clean Room Environment.

All of the materials that are used in the MAGNUM-PET gripper are FDA approved for food contact and de-ionized waterproof. The body and slides are made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET-P) and all metal parts are 316 stainless steel that has been passivated and TFE impregnated. The permanent lubrication that is applied at the factory is rated H1 for food contact by the FDA.

A test report that confirms CLASS ONE CLEAN ROOM Gripper Operation and another D.I. Water immersion. These tests were performed by independent laboratories and are available from ZAYTRAN.
